Water Bloat Effect, for Truckers…and stop it for good.
Your Career is designed around drinking Coffee, Water, Soda’s, etc…to force Caffeine through the body daily, while taking on a bunch of liquid. You can Pee daily, or not even any at all.
Of course, it doesn’t happen overnight….but after we do this for a lifestyle….so kicks in the,
“Water Bloat Effect.”
“I can’t wipe my ass anymore.”
Most of us take the word “hydration” to a whole new level of understanding. Sippy cup in hand, steering wheel in the other, scratching our nuts occasionally thinking nothing wrong is going on…
We are slowly increasing our level of water saturation within our body…and many can produce possible negative effects. It is, if you don’t do something about it.
This is a small guide on proper drinking habits;
Gatorade – it is good if you are working out and replacing electrolytes. However, with sitting all day, electrolytes are a variety of salts which could cause swelling, water retention, and hold urine until evening time when you are trying to sleep.
Soda – it helps you feel quenched, but a vast majority of sugars can also cause swelling and hold water retention. It is also loaded with empty calories. However, the Co2 itself can help to maintain the acid-base balance in the bloodstream…that is until the sugar spikes your insulin/causing bad results for your Ketosis.
Orange/Apple Juice – The healthiest drinks, they say. Your body is designed to have 1 or two apple/oranges…not a bullet of sugar. Although pulp can help with your fiber, the sugar spike is going to kill your insulin and cause senseless calories.
Water – Great for Hydration…however, the waterbloat can still happen. How? Read below.
What causes water retention?
Saturation of water doesn’t mean anything has to cause you to bloat. You can actually drink so much liquid regularly, you can carry up to 20lbs in just water/soda/drinks we drink daily.
If you would like to follow our blueprint to losing weight, try this article.
This problem happened to me…it would cause me to pee only at bed time. However, loading your body with Caffeine regularly as well, Caffeine will stimulate your bladder….causing you to feel like you have to pee more often then if you would have just drank water.
By changing your style of drinking habits, in just a few short days or weeks…you can drop 10 to 20lbs.
Ideas on how to change your drinking habits;
Drinks that don’t spike your insulin or cause bloat
Black Coffee – black coffee alone only has 5 calories or less. It also keeps your body in ketosis if you did not eat, so this would be a great suitable drink. Depending on how much you drink, you can still get bloat. However, because there is no calories…you will just pee it out. Just don’t drink heavy daily, and you can ease the retention.
Green Tea – Green tea carries the same weight as Coffee. However, it has great trace minerals, a smooth caffeine flow, and have you drink less in liquid weight. Since you are drinking a smaller cup for the same caffeine, you can exclude excess necessary weight. Your lipton style tea will kick you out of ketosis.
Water – you can find a caffeine substitute if you drink for that…but this has zero calories and keeps you in ketosis.
Bare in mind you can have anything if you need it…this is to mitigate bloat, senseless calories, and shrink your midsection at least 1 notch in your belt.
Better choice alternative:
Carbonated Water – soda alternative/can help to maintain the acid-base balance in the bloodstream. First and foremost, sparkling water does not contain calories or sugar. If you enjoy having a bit of “fizz” in your drink, carbonated water allows you to do so without the added calories.
Caffeinated Powder – you can buy caffeine and by itself…or you can chose to use caffeinated powder. it is a small pouch which can be added to water. you will take in calories, but it is less then half of a traditional soda with equal or more caffeine.
Tea – if you don’t add sweetener, it has antioxidants which works great for your IU.
Add Fruit to your Water – adding fruit to your water can give you a flavor you can chase after. However, adding citrus, lemons, etc…you can help repair micro tares in your body. Your body needs real vitamin C…not the chewies. Use frozen bags of fruit which will place nicely in your cooler. It will also act as ICE…
It comes down to not guzzling liquids to feel full. It is about slowly reducing your intake…and in a few short weeks you can breathe from your waistline. Although this seems obvious, we get used to sipping down the drinks we love.
